      I tried creating  a heart-thudding-noise-infused-fade-in-out-movie-opening thing-thing, but as a comic!
  I'm fairly happy with how it turned out

In an explanation of sorts, Gardeners= some sort of strange fairy 

Graveyard= burial grounds of said fairy where small and large pavilions are erected to house

  the dead body of said fairy, which for some unexplained reason exudes magic that revives the graveyard 

waste-land, often causing  the phenomenon of floating islands.   

I've found that felt-tip markers are very fun to draw with.
